- Engagement: Initial 6 - 12 month contract with good chance of extension or potential transition to permanent staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree-qualified Structural or Civil Engineer.
- 710+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Strong background in steel and concrete design within the mining sector
- Proficiency with structural analysis software and design tools.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder skills
- Chartered status (CPEng) or progress toward it is highly regarded.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Undertake structural design and analysis for a range of mining projects
- Contribute to project planning, documentation, and coordination activities.
- Provide technical input, mentorship, and quality checks on engineering work.
- Prepare and review calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and the development of practical design solutions.
