Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
- Strong mining & materials handling project experience
- Senior level experience required
- Demonstrated experience in a design focused or EPCM role;
- Experience with mining plant structures design - concrete and steel
- Strong stakeholder management skills & able to complete project delivery tasks
- Able to complete site inspections
- Aspirations to eventually lead a small team
- Strong understanding of industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Well regarded locally owned structural engineering consultant delivering specialised structural engineering solutions to the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
- Currently 2 other Structural Engineers .
- Work will be focused on brownfield mining and heavy industrial projects
- Able to interface with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders
- Able to perform site inspections and produce a range of project delivery tasks
- Intention is for this position to grow into a management position and lead a small team.
