Role Opportunity
Senior Structural Engineer to join a global multi discipline engineering consultant servicing the mining/minerals processing and heavy industry sectors. This role will be a contract role - Initial 3 months and working on a key iron ore project.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10 + years of structural engineering experience, ideally in mining and mineral processing projects.
• Proficient in SpaceGass and Strand 7
• Strong materials handling background
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials (steel and concrete).
• Able to review the work of other structural engineers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations to support brownfield mining and mineral processing projects.
• Utilise SpaceGass and Strand 7 for structural analysis and design.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant Australian Standards and mining industry safety regulations.
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, and construction support activities
